Olympiacos – AEK 100-93

AEK returned to action after three weeks with a defeat, as the injury-ridden “Queen” lost 100-93 to Olympiacos at the Peace and Friendship Stadium, for Round 9 of the Stoiximan GBL.

AEK played without Brown, Katsivelis, Charalampopoulos, Clavell, while they also “lost” Kuzminskas, who requested a sub in the 15th minute and remained out for the rest of the game.

Despite the difficulties and the fact that AEK found themselves down by 21 points (84-63) in the 32nd minute, the team was highly competitive and threatened Olympiacos until 48 seconds before the final buzzer (96-90).

Next game for Dragan Sakota’s team is on Wednesday (10/12, 19:30) against Patrioti Levice at SUNEL Arena, for Round 5 of BCL Group F.
