AEK Athens B.C. defeated Juventus Utena by 78-77 in Lithuania and making the first step for the qualification to the 16 best teams of the Basketball Champions League.
Mike Dixon led AEK with 15 points, 13 of which came in the second half, Donnie McGrath was big in the first half on his way to 14 and Sakota finished with 13 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks.
With the victory AEK became the first team to register an away win in the Play-Off Qualifiers.
