Deal with Mavroeidis

The board of AEK Athens B.C. announces the agreement with Dimitris Mavroeidis (30 years old – 2.08m)

The contract signed until the end of the season 2015-2016.

Career:

Dimitris Mavroeidis began his professional career in 2005, playing for the youth team of Peristeri. Then he was transferred to Panionios where he remained until 2007. Next stop was Marousi (2007-2010). In July 2010 he chose to continue his career in the Spanish League for Bilbao, where he remained for two seasons.

In the summer of 2012 he signed a contract with Olympiacos, winning the Euroleague in 2013, while last season in Kifisia had 13.9 points, 7.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists average in 26 matches.

In the first five games of Basket League SKRATS 2015-2016, with the shirt of Kifissia recorded, 14.2 points, 10.2 rebounds and 1.5 assists.

Mavroeidis wore for the first time the national emblem in the 2001the European Children Championships then participated in the European Junior Men’s Championships in 2004 and 2005. In 2009 he won the silver medal with the Men’s National Team at the Mediterranean Games in Pescara, and was present at the 2011 Eurobasket.”
