Coach Dragan Sakota spoke ahead of tomorrow’s (16:00) Stoiximan GBL matchup against Karditsa Iaponiki at SUNEL Arena:

“Our focus must now return to the Greek Championship. We’re facing on our home court a team that was one of the pleasant surprises of last season. Karditsa is a good team this year as well – something they’ve shown through their performances in the BCL, where they compete.

We faced them in a friendly game some time ago, but that was part of the preparation period. Tomorrow’s game will be completely different from the one at Glyfada tournament. The motivation is different, the preparation for a league game is different.

In short, Karditsa is one of the best teams in Greece at this stage, right behind the two that are ahead of all of us, and they require our full attention. We must show respect to Karditsa in order to achieve our goal.”
