AEK BC head coach Dragan Sakota shared his thoughts ahead of the Stoiximan GBL season opener against Kolossos in Rhodes:

“Every new beginning brings excitement, and especially this year. It was evident from the preseason games, as well as from the rosters and budgets of the teams, that we are going to have a strong Championship. It is no coincidence that FIBA has ranked Stoiximan GBL in 3rd place in its Ranking.

We haven’t had the opportunity to watch many of Kolossos’s games, unlike the people of Kolossos who were able to observe us more. From the few I have seen, however, it seems that our opponent is a better team than last year, they are strong, and their coach has done a good job.”
