The Head Coach of the “Queen” AEK BC, Dragan Šakota, commented on the BCL Quarter-Final draw, which paired our team with Badalona:

“Obviously, we were drawn against the team no one would want to face… for two reasons: because Badalona are a very strong side, and because their home court will host the Final Four of the competition. In any case, our main priority is to have everyone healthy at that time. It is crucial for us to have a full roster. We will fight for it. And let me add something else: all of AEK’s successes have come through difficult situations. We are used to it… We are used to the hard way.”
