AEK BC – Patrioti Levice 99-88

The “Queen” prevailed 99-88 over Patrioti Levice at SUNEL Arena, securing first place in Group F and an automatic qualification to the BCL Round of 16.

The two teams stayed close throughout the first half, which ended 49-47, while Dragan Šakota was ejected in the 16th minute with a double technical foul, forcing Stevan Miljovic to take over head coaching duties for the remainder of the game.

AEK withstood Levice’s comeback despite Silva’s injury at 25’, as he felt discomfort in his right leg and barely managed to finish the game, which went to overtime (82–82). There, the “Union” pulled away with back-to-back threes and decisive plays from Bartley, Gray, and Silva, who showed great determination and finished the match despite the pain.

It is noted that Kuzminskas, Clavell, Brown, and Charalampopoulos did not play due to injuries.
