AEK BC is pleased to announce that it has reached an agreement with Lukas Lekavičius (31 years old, 1.80m).
The Lithuanian international guard signed today (01/09) a contract through the end of the 2025-2026 season.
BIOGRAPHY
Lekavičius was born on March 30, 1994, in Šilalė, Lithuania.
He began his career in 2012 with Žalgiris, where he spent the most of his professional career. He played for the Kaunas club from 2012 to 2017 and again from 2019 through last season, winning 6 Lithuanian Championships, 8 Lithuanian Cups, and 1 Lithuanian Supercup.
From 2017 to 2019, he moved to Greece to play for PAO BC, where he won two Greek Championships and one Greek Cup. Across 293 EuroLeague games, he has averaged 6.8 points, 1.2 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 0.4 steals in approximately 16.5 minutes per game.
With the Lithuanian National Team, he won a silver medal at EuroBasket 2015 and has represented his country in major international tournaments, including the 2019 FIBA World Cup and EuroBasket 2022.
