AEK Betsson BC is pleased to announce the signing of Frank Bartley (31 y.o., 1.91m).

The American guard has signed a two-year contract with the “Queen,” which runs through the end of the 2026–2027 season.

BIOGRAPHY

Frank Bartley was born on February 25, 1994, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and began his basketball journey at Brigham Young University (2013–2015) before transferring to Louisiana-Lafayette (2016–2018).

In his final NCAA season, he averaged 17.8 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 2 assists across 33 games.

He started his professional career in Canada with Saint John Riptide (2018–2019), where he averaged 19.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 3.2 assists over 39 games.

In 2019–2020, he made his European debut with Real Valladolid in Spain’s LEB Gold, posting 16.3 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 2.1 assists in 24 appearances.

Next came Germany, where he played for medi Bayreuth (2020–2021) in the BBL, averaging 14.3 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 2.4 assists in 31 games.

In 2021–2022, Bartley started the season in Denmark (Bakken Bears) and later moved to Israel, joining Ness Ziona, where he averaged 16.9 points over 27 games.

The 2022–2023 season was particularly productive, as Bartley became the leading scorer in Italy’s Serie A with Trieste, putting up 19.5 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 3 assists per game over 29 appearances.

After his stint in Italy, he moved to China, where he played 17 games with the Qingdao Eagles, averaging 8.9 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 1.8 assists.

In 2023–2024, Bartley joined Brindisi, where he played under Coach Dragan Sakota, averaging 12.9 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 1.9 assists in Italy’s Lega Basket Serie A.

Most recently, in the 2024–2025 season, he played for PAOK mateco, where he averaged 15.8 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 3.8 assists in the Stoiximan GBL, and 14.9 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game in the FIBA Europe Cup.
