AEK Betsson BC announces the beginning of its collaboration with Stevan Mijovic, who will join Coach Dragan Sakota\u2019s technical staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The 32-year-old Serbian coach began his career at Crvena Zvezda (Red Star), where he spent six consecutive years overseeing the club\u2019s youth development system. During his time there, he led his teams to national titles and notable distinctions in Euroleague tournaments such as the Nike International and Adidas Next Generation Tournament. He also served as assistant coach for the Men’s Team for one season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In 2017, he moved to KK Dynamic Belgrade, where he held various roles until 2021, serving as head coach of the youth teams and as first assistant coach for the Men\u2019s Team in domestic competitions and the ABA League 2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
His next stops were as head coach at Kolubara Lazarevac (2021\u20132022) and Radni\u010dki Kragujevac (2022\u20132024), where he led the team to promotion to the Serbian First Division and was named \u201cCoach of the Year\u201d in the Second Division by eurobasket.com.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In 2024, he coached FMP Soccerbet in the ABA League, and last season he took over as head coach of Dynamic Balkan Bet in Serbia\u2019s First Division.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mijovic has also served in various roles within Serbia\u2019s National Teams across nearly all age levels. He was assistant coach for the U16 (2019\u20132020), U18 (2020\u20132022)\u2014winning silver at the 2021 Challenger in Skopje and bronze at the 2022 European Championship in Turkey\u2014and U19 (2022\u20132023). Since 2025, he has been the head coach of the Serbian U16 National Team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Coach Mijovic made the following statement after signing his one-year contract with the \u201cQueen\u201d:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
