AEK Betsson BC is pleased to announce that Coach Dragan \u0160akota will remain on the “Queen\u2019s” bench for the 2025\u20132026 season – and possibly beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The coach of 3+1 titles (1 Greek Championship, 1 BCL, 1 Greek Cup as Head Coach, and 1 Intercontinental Cup as Sports Director), along with a… bronze medal – as good as a trophy – from the BCL Final Four in SUNEL Arena, will continue in his role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The day when Coach Dragan \u0160akota\u2019s (coaching) suit will be raised to the rafters of SUNEL Arena is still far away. His \u201cSports Director\u201d attire will remain securely locked in his office, in the \u201cDragan \u0160akota\u201d Suite at SUNEL Arena!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Coach \u0160ale has decided not to change roles and is already preparing his plans as head coach for what\u2019s to come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The meeting on Saturday (17\/05) with AEK Betsson BC’s administrative leader, Mr. Makis Angelopoulos, was mostly a formality – it simply confirmed an eternal relationship of trust that goes well beyond 2027. The \u201cgold-sealed\u201d collaboration between the Coach and our glorious Club and the people of AEK was, after all, signed long ago with the \u201cblood\u201d of his yellow-and-black heart!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
